About Burnt Out, Still Dad
Being a dad is one of the most rewarding roles in life — but it can also be one of the most exhausting. Many fathers carry the weight of providing, protecting, and being present, often without a space to talk about their own struggles. That’s where Burnt Out, Still Dad began.
This project grew from a simple but urgent truth: dads matter, too. When we neglect our own well-being, the stress, fatigue, and quiet burnout we carry spill over into every part of life — from our relationships to our health and our ability to show up for our children.
The book Burnt Out, Still Dad is more than a personal story. It’s a practical guide written for fathers who feel stretched too thin, tired but determined, and in need of a reminder that they’re not alone.
Alongside the book, we created Great Dad Great U, an online space with free resources, weekly advice columns, and opportunities to connect with other fathers. For those who want deeper support, we also offer structured coaching and a private community where you can share, listen, and learn together.
This isn’t about being the “perfect dad.” It’s about being a real dad — one who knows his limits, takes care of himself, and shows up with strength and honesty for his family.
You don’t have to do this alone. This space, this book, and this community were built for you.
Our mission
Our mission is to support fathers facing burnout by providing practical tools, honest conversations, and a community that understands. Through Burnt Out, Still Dad and Great Dad Great U, we empower dads to care for themselves so they can show up stronger, healthier, and more present for their families.
Our vision
Our vision is a world where every father feels supported, valued, and equipped to thrive in his role. We believe that by addressing burnout openly and providing pathways to balance, dads everywhere can build healthier families, stronger relationships, and a lasting legacy of presence and care.
